NAUMAN, BURTNER, ALDRICH

Edward Philip Nauman, 28 years of age, passed away yesterday afternoon. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nauman, 101 Lafayette Street. The young man had been afflicted with kidney trouble for years, but it was thought his health was improving. Up to Thursday, he was feeling as well as usual, but on that day he was suddenly taken ill.

Mr. Nauman was a native of Waterloo, being born here on January 1, 1886. After finishing the public schools, he learned the machinist trade and became a competent workman, and held a competent position in the Illinois Central railroad shops. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge and had a wide acquaintance in the city.

Besides his parents, five brothers and two sisters survive: William, Louis, Arthur, Harry and Lawrence Nauman, Mrs. J.D. Burtner and Mrs. Louis Aldrich.

The body was taken to the Petersen brothers undertaking parlors to be prepared for burial. Funeral services in charge of, Rev. Effie McCollum Jones, will be conducted from the residence, 927 Franklin Street, at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, while interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
