WATERLOO — Rick J. Boesen, 59, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Allen Hospital.

He was born March 23, 1953, in Waterloo, son of Joseph C. and Geraldine Unice Boesen.

Mr. Boesen was employed as a chipper and grinder at John Deere until becoming disabled.

Survived by a daughter, Rochelle Daniels of California; two grandchildren, two brothers, Mike (Lisa) of East Moline, Ill., and Chris of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Chapel, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is assisting the family.
