CHARLES MORNIN DEAD.

Popular Young Business Man of Cedar Falls Passes Away.

(From Saturday's Daily.) Charles Mornin, one of the leading young business men of Cedar Falls, died at his home in that city at 8:00 o'clock last evening. He had been sick about a week. He was first troubled with a carbuncle, and then erysipelas and blood poisoning followed. The date of his death was his 27th birthday.

He leaves a wife and several brothers and sisters besides his father and mother to mourn his death.

The funeral services will be held Monday.

Mr. Mornin was a brother of Alderman Geo. S. Mornin and was interested with him in the conduct of their large drug and book store. He was a charter member of the Cedar Falls A. 0. U. W. band and always took a deep interest in the organization. He also belonged to the K. of P. lodge and to several other organizations.

The funeral of C.W. Mornin occurred yesterday afternoon. The services were held in the M.E. Church. The burial took place in Fairview Cemetery. The services were conducted by Revs. Callen and Lockwood. A large number of the friends of the deceased were present at the services, including the firemen and K. of P's who were present in a body.
