Funeral services for Melvin Beck. 64, who died Monday evening in the Black Hawk County Home, will be conducted at 3 p. m. Thursday in the Block chapel by Rev. Lew C. j Harris, pastor of Central Church of Christ.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

MELVIN BECK.

Melvin Beck, 64. formerly of Saskatchewan, Canada, died Monday evening at 9 p. m. in the Black Hawk County Home, of a complication of diseases. He had
been blind for the past five years. Before that he had been employed on a farm near Hudson, Iowa.

He was admitted to the home May 24. 1936. He had been married and divorced, and had two daughters. They are reportedly living in Saskatchewan.

Also surviving are two brothers, Harry and Charles, both of Rockford, Ill, and several sisters.

The body was taken to the Block Funeral Home.
