Lillian I. Hoffman, 83, of 3549 Hammond Ave., died Monday Dec. 27, 1993, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 26, 1910, in Waterloo, daughter of John and Anna Knowles Morrow. She married Vincent E. Hoffman on Sept. 20, 1941, in Waterloo. She was a cook at Orange Township School for several years.

Survived by her husband, a son, Mike of Marion; three grandchildren; and a sister, Gertrude Shea of California.

Preceded in death by two infant sons; three brothers, Ralph, Marvin and Gordon Morrow; and two sisters, Gladys Schmidt and Grace Greiger.

Services: will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Oppold-Hagarty Funeral Home, where there will be a vigil service at 7 p.m.
