LADU DIES AT WATERLOO

Mrs. William A. Watson died at her home In Waterloo Monday afternoon, following an illness from pneumonia and complications. Funeral services were held at the family home, 1815 E. Fourth Street, Waterloo, yesterday afternoon at one o'clock. Rev. Baumgartner officiating, and the remains were brought to La Porte City and placed in West View.

Cora Mae Hamilton was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elihu Hamilton and was born May 3. 1874, on the Hamilton estate in Spring Creek Township, Black Hawk County, where she grew to young womanhood. During her girlhood she was a great sufferer, her life being despaired of different times, but her health improved and she had been well until stricken with her last illness.

In the spring of 1900 she moved with her parents to la Porte City and on May 1, 1904, she was married to William A. Watson. They went to make their home in Waterloo, where Mr. Watson had been living for a year previous.

At the time of her death Mrs. Watson was 47 years, 8 months and 14 days old. Her untimely death is mourned by her husband, Wm. A. Watson, her mother, Mrs. Elihu Hamilton, and three sisters: Mrs. E. T. Roberts, of Spring Creek Township, Mrs. D. A. Toeter and Mrs. A. J. Gunderson, of La Porte City, besides many other relatives and a host of friends.
