Committal services for Frank D. Burton, 54, former Waterloo resident who died of a heart ailment at 2:30 P. M. Saturday in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin hospital, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Charles J. Gunnell, rector of Christ Episcopal Church in Charge.

The body will arrive in Waterloo at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to word received by the O’Keefe & Towne Funeral Home.

Mr. Burton was born at Onawa, Iowa, son of Benjamin and Leora Burton and when a youth came with his parents to Waterloo, where at one time they operated the Logan House at fourth and Sycamore Streets on the present site of the James Black Dry Goods Co. The family home was on East third and Lafayette Streets.

Following his marriage to Miss Frances Martin in Chicago he had resided the past 25 years in Milwaukee, where he was engaged in the real estate business. Mr. Burton was a member of the Christian Science Church.

Surviving Besides his wife are a sister; Mrs. Claude H. Pettit of Osage; and a niece; Mrs. L. A. Garner, 722 Lime Street.

In the 1900 Census his first name is Franklin D Burton and his wife is listed as Nebraska.

In the 1940 Census he is in Milwaukee Wisconsin, with a birth place of Omaha, with a wife Frances born abt. 1892 in Illinois.
