Mrs. John Cutler, 69, of 469 W. Louise St., died of complications of cancer at 4:10 a.m. Tuesday in Schoitz Memorial Hospital. She was born Gladys Gindt, Sept. 4, 1901, here, daughter of Dominic and Lilly Schneider Gindt.

She was married Sept. 1, 1925, in Waterloo to John Cutler. She lived in this city all her life with the exception of five years at Dawson, Minn., and nine years at Claremont, Minn.

Mrs. Cutler graduated from East High School in 1919 and also from Ecklund Business College and was a secretary at Hinson Division, Royal Industries, prior to her retirement.

She was a member of First United Presbyterian church, its Fellowship club, Hinson Retirees Club, Recreation Center Singers and the Order of Eastern Star of Dodge Center, Minn.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Vincent H. Cutler of 1915 W. 6th St., and John D., of Hampton; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Wynn, at home, and Mrs. Gary Beinfang of Grundy Center; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Kohlenberg of Vista, Calif., and Mrs. Harold Hocken of Sun City, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by parents and one grandchild.

Funeral services are pending at Chapel of Memories West where friends may call after noon Wednesday.
