FINAL SUMMONS SATURDAY.

The angel of death visited the home of Geo. Paul, 411 East Mullan avenue Saturday evening at 9:55 and called the wife and mother from the home of one of Waterloo's well known families.

Mrs. Paul has been confined to her bed for several months, and her demise has been expected' for some time

A son Conrad died on the 3rd of last February, and since that time the mother has been in the poorest health.

She was a good, true, Christian wife and mother, and a devout member of the Lutheran church. Her presence will be missed not only from the home but the community as well.

Obituary--

Augusta Loos was born in Germany July 3, 1842, and moved to this country with her parents in 1866.

The following year on June 9th, she was married to Geo. Paul in Mt. Vernon Township, Blackhawk County. They lived on the farm until ten years ago this winter, when they moved to Waterloo.

Seven children have been born to them, five of whom survive to mourn the death of the loving wife and mother. The children living are Chas., of Cedar Falls; Albert, of Waterloo; Mrs. Chas. Bryden, of Janesville; Elizabeth and Herman, at home.

One child, Henry, died in infancy and Conrad died last February. Two brothers, Herman and Frank Loose, of Beaver Creek, Minnesota and five grandchildren are the other remaining immediate relatives living.

Deceased was a faithful member of the First Lutheran Church, in which place the funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. A prayer will be delivered at the home, 411 East Mullan Avenue, at 2:00 o'clock and the remains then taken to the church. The burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery.
