Services for George P. Richter, 60, of 617 Wallgate Ave will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with burial in the Garden of Memories.

Mr. Richter died Friday at 9:57 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital of lung cancer.

He was born July 10, 1916 at Nora Springs; the son of August and Nora Harden Richter. He married Helen M. Brucato June 8,1940, in Cedar Falls.

He was employed by the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 32 years, retiring in 1972. He served with the Marines during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three sons: Richard of 116 Home Park Blvd., Michael of 419 N. Francis St., Cedar Falls, and Dale of 1526 Patten Ave,; a brother, Carl of National City, Calif. and a sister, Mrs. Bernice Castle of Marion.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West until 9 p.m. Sunday and at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until service time.
