DUNKERTON — Adeline Francis Lorene Jones, 90, of Wyocena, Wis., formerly of Dunkerton, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013.
She was born July 25, 1922, in Howard County, daughter of Emmerson and Elsie R. Vogel Baumgartner. She married Clark E. Jones on Sept. 18, 1945, in Lime Springs. He died May 20, 1996.
Mrs. Jones worked at Tops Supper Club and was a homemaker.
Survived by a son, Jerry C. (Sarah) of Waterloo; four daughters: Jean A. LaReau of Rio, Wis., Janet L. (Dave) Bobholz of Madison, Wis., Joyce M. (Gary) Kasten of Portage, Wis., and Judy M. (James) Kerns of Waterloo; a brother, Marvin Baumgartner of Vinton; a brother-in-law, Clair Jones Boerne of Texas; three sisters-in-law: Opal Baumgartner of Rio, Wis., Leone Baumgartner of Des Moines and Wanda Weinberg of Clarksville; 12 grandchildren: Jeanne LaReau Johanning, Jessica LaReau, Kandace Bobholz Nowakowski, Katie Bobholz Schultz, Amy Kasten Manthey, Lisa Kasten Esser, Carie Kasten, Kevin Kasten, Aaron Kerns, Trevor Kerns, Natasha Kerns Ranes and Allison Jones; and nine great-grandchildren: Chelsea Johanning, Hayley Wilson, Troy Wilson, Elliot Nowakowski, Lena Nowakowski, Brilie Esser, Lainie Esser, Samantha Kerns and Gabriella Ranes.
Preceded in death by a son, Robert L. in infancy; three brothers: Gaylord, Raymond and Emery Baumgartner; two sisters, Viola Decker and Geneva Baumgartner; a brother-in-law, Charles Decker Sr.; and a son-in-law, Anthony LaReau.
Services: Noon Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball and an hour before services Wednesday at the church. A 1 p.m. memorial service is planned Jan. 19 at Caledonia Presbyterian Church, Wis.
