Services for Mrs. Robert Bernard, 54, of 1746 Huntington Rd., will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church, with burial in Garden of Memories.

Rosary by the parish will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at Oppold Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Bernard died of accidental drowning about 4 p.m. Friday in a pond back of Hope Martin Park.

Alice LaVern Keiderling was born June 26, 1920, in Waterloo, the daughter of Nicholas and Marie Behrend.

She married Robert Bernard at St. Marys Church in Waterloo Dec. 27, 1939. She was employed at Carl's Place.

Survivors include her husband; three sons: James of Bagley, Wis., Robert of St. Clair Shores, Mich. and George, at home; seven sisters: Mrs. Gladyce Meinert of 214 1/2 Locust St., Mrs. Dorothy Heinritz and Mrs. Kathryn Schultz, both of Milwaukee, Mrs. Margaret Brinker of Newport, Ore., Mrs. Bettey Colwell of Knoxville, Mrs. Leona Blackman of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Beverly Sparks of Indianola; four brothers, Roy Keiderling of 1625 Downing Ave., Glenn of 1511 W. 11th, Walter of Omaha, and Louis of 537 Belle St.
