WATERLOO — Lois Mae Blakesley, 78, of Waterloo, died at her home Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.

She was born April 18, 1934, in Britt, daughter of Carl and Nina Peterson Pearson. She married William Blakesley on Nov. 28, 1953, in Manly. He died Nov. 22, 2005.

She attended MacMurray Business College in Illinois and was a professional business woman in Waterloo.

Survived by three sons, Bruce (Kim) and Roger (Diane), both of Cedar Falls, and Eric of Waterloo; two daughters, Marsha (Terry) Moorman of Boone and Claudia (Patrick) Campbell of Cedar Falls; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a sister, Janice Delp.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at United Church of Christ, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.

A memorial fund will be established.
