MRS. MYRTLE THOMPSON

Mrs. Myrtle Thompson, 72, of 143½ Dawson. St., died at 10 p. m. Monday at the East First Street Nursing home of complications of diabetes.

She was born on April 6, 1893, in Fairmont, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Johanna Olson Dunn. She was married to Sever Thompson on June 28, 1911, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are three sons: Vern of 519 Edison Street; Arthur of 1151 Columbia Street; Charles of 412½ W. 4th Street; three daughters: Mrs. Bernard James of 853 W. Parker Street: Mrs. Olmer Nystel of Charles City; Mrs. Nick Netty, Sr., of Anaheim, California; one sister, Mrs. John Flynn of Richmond, California; two brothers, Ervin Dunn of Genoa, Wisconsin; Grant of San Pablo, California; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one daughter and three sisters.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
