[Waterloo Evening Courier, Wednesday, June 21, 1911]

After an illness of four months of Bright's disease, Louisa, the fourteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Sack, passed away last evening at 7:35 at the family home in Mt. Vernon township, six miles north of Waterloo.

The young girl was a member of the Logan avenue Evangelical church and until she was taken sick, attended Sunday services regularly. She was a sweet little Christian and during her last long illness was patient and uncomplaining, and by her happy disposition, helped to brighten the life of those about her.

Louisa was born in Illinois in May 1897 and was thus only a little past fourteen when death came. The family moved to their present home in Black Hawk county eight years ago, and the little girl attended school near home where she was a good student and a favorite with her school mates. In the Logan avenue church of Waterloo, she also had many friends and these will all sympathize sincerely with the parents' in their loss.

Besides the parents, two sisters are the other members of the family. These are Mrs. Ansel Moore, Mt. Vernon Township, and Florence, at home.

The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon. There will be brief services at the home at 1 o'clock and the church service will be held at 2:30 in the Logan avenue Evangelical church in Waterloo. Rev. J.G. Walz will conduct the services and the interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
