EVANSDALE — Dorothy L. Bedard Bramblett, 89, of Evansdale, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 7, 1923, in Oelwein, daughter of Kelsey and Jennie Annett Thomas. She married Cleo Bedard on March 9, 1943, in Cedar Rapids. He died Jan. 4, 1967. She married Billy Bramblett in March of 1968 in Galena, Ill. He died Sept. 5, 1983.

Mrs. Bramblett worked as a clerk at the Gene Harris Antique Auction House, Marshalltown, for seven years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and a former member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Evansdale, until its closing. She was a member of the Rosary Society and Moose Lodge.

Survived by a special friend, Rab Sampicia of Evansdale; four daughters, Barb (Don) Leohr of Evansdale, Linda (Roy) Przybylo of Matteson, Ill., Nancy (Don) Heath of Cedar Falls and Deb (Lou) Hovey of Waterloo; a son, Tim (Becky) Bedard of Waterloo; nine grandchildren, Dawn (Don) McCraney, Jeff Leohr, Kelly (Dana) Leohr, Kurt (Timmy) Przybylo, Nick (Kim) Kolsrud, Josh (Amanda) Bedard, Jacob Bedard, Wendy (Steve) Smith and Nate (Heather) Hovey; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; the father who raised her, Frank Ross; and three grandsons, Scott Leohr, Roy Przybylo and Jason Kolsrud; and a sister, Betty Lorraine.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Marks United Methodist Church, Evansdale, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home.
