DIED OF TUBERCULOSIS

Elmer Hardin Left Waterloo Two
Weeks Ago for His Health.

Elmer Harden, of Waterloo, died at 6:00 o'clock Sunday evening In Colorado where he went a couple of weeks ago seeking relief from lung trouble. The remains will be brought to Waterloo and taken to the home of the mother-in-law, Mrs. Frank Gilbert, on Beech Street.

Previous to leaving Waterloo Mr. Harden had been a rural mail carrier.

He was 40 years old and leaves a mother, widow and two small children.

Services will be arranged after the body arrives.

Elmer Harden was born in Waterloo, Sept. 26, 1867, being forty years eleven months and fourteen days of age, having lived here all his life.

He was married to Miss Frances Gilbert In the year 1895. Three children were born, to this union: Earl A., eleven years of age, and Viola May, who passed away at the age of three years, and Clyde G, five years of age.

He is survived by these relatives: besides the wife and children; Mother, two brothers and three sisters, namely: Jessie, of Rockford, Iowa, George of Waterloo; Mary Puritan, Waterloo; Mrs. Levy Updyke, of Mason City.
