LOUIS W. APLING.

Funeral services are pendng at the Locke Funeral Home for Louis W. Apling, 64, who died about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Woodlawn Convalescent Home of a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was born Dec. 10, 1893, the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Aplng and married Vera Woodrum Nov. 6, 1921, in Waterloo. They were later divorced.

Mr. Apling was a cement mason until he retired years ago due to ill health. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two sons, Louis E. Apling, 909 Bluff St., Upton S. Apling, 1218 Sheerer Ave.; two daughters, Mrs. Elma Hansen, 704 Newton St., Mrs. Robert Wescom, 3107 Falls Ave.: a sister. Mrs. Jess Billick. 1626 Michigan Dr., Evansdale, and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services are planned; for 3:30 p, m. Saturday at the Locke Funeral Home for Louis
W. Apling, 64, of the Woodlawn Convalescent Home. Mr. Apling died Wednesday of a cerebral hemorrhage.

The Rev. W. D. Getting, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran. Church, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
