Jack L. Lockhart

Services for former Waterloo resident Jack L. Lockhart, 28, of San Jose, Calif., are pending at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel. He died in San Jose Thursday evening of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He was born in Waterloo May 17, 1947, son of Lee and Beulah Epperson Lockhart. He was married in Nevada in January, and was employed as a field engineer for the Digital Computer Co. for the past eight years.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of San Jose; his mother, 534 Archer St.; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Epperson of 534 Archer St.; two brothers, Ronald of Beaumont, Texas, and Donald of 44Vi Mulberry St.; and a sister, Mrs. Fioyd Neessen of Honolulu, Hawaii.
