Funeral services for Thomas Alfred Parrott will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church. The Rev. William Bagby, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Cedar Falls, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Parrott, 61, of Casey Key, Nokomis, Fla., a former Waterloo resident and insurance executive, died Tuesday at 2 a.m. in Venice Hospital, Venice, Fla., He was admitted to the hospital following a heart attack.

The body will arrive Friday morning at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home. Friends may call after noon on Friday.

Mr. Parrott was born Feb. 14, 1907, in Waterloo, the son of James S. and Susan Myers Parrott. He married Elsie C. Christoffersen in Waterloo Feb. 28, 1931. They moved to Floriday last August.

He was a veteran of World War II, a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Venice, the Venice Elks Club, the Venice Yacht Club, and the Bobby Jones Country Club at Sarasota, Florida. He was also a member of Martin Lodge No. 624, AF & AM, in Waterloo and the Waterloo Exchange Club.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Thomas A. Parrott, and a brother, James M. Parrot, all of Casey Keys Nokomis.
