The angel of death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. White, 332 Quincy street, yesterday afternoon at 12:30 and bore away the spirit of their seven-year-old son, Joseph E. Ackerman, who was born in Waterloo, January 30, 1902.

He had been a patient sufferer for many weeks with heart trouble and death came as a sweet relief from pain. He goes to join his father, who met death two months previous to his son's birth.

He was a bright little fellow and his little friends and playmates will be very sorry to hear of his death. Those who are left especially to mourn are his mother and step-father, a little half-sister and brother, Lois and Milton White.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Mission Chapel, Rev. H.G. Beeman of the Walnut Street Baptist church officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview cememtery.
