Mrs. William Jones, 47, of 1244 Walker St., died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of cancer.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Christ Episcopal Church of Trinity Parish with the Rev. M, J. Dwyer, and the Rev. Charles Gunnell, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.

Augusta Baughn was born June 18, 1926, in Jackson, Miss., the daughter of Zachary and
Mittie Bonney Baughn. She was married to William Jones on July 9, 1943, in Jackson, Miss They came to Waterloo in 1946 and she was employed in the downtown King's Food Host. Mrs. Jones was a member of Trinity Episcopal Parish and the Altar Guild.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Craig Ham of 1620 Wakonda Dr., and Mrs. Keith Young of 1667 Oakwood Dr.; one son, Steven Jones., of Howelli Mich.; three grandchildren; maternal grandmother, Mrs. R. M. Booney of MaComb, Miss.; and one sister, Mrs. L. P. Covington of Summit, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family suggests tha those who wish may give memorials to the American Cancer Society in her name.
