WATERLOO — Joseph “Joe” Holtzman, 37, of Cathedral City, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died in his sleep on Dec. 9, 2012.

He was born Feb. 27, 1975, in Waterloo, son of Guy and Cindy Delagardelle Holtzman.

Mr. Holtzman graduated from Palm Springs High School, Palm Springs, Calif., in 1993.

Survived by his father of Morongo Valley, Calif.; his mother, Cindy Holtzman (Charlie Gutbrodt) of Cathedral City; and paternal grandfather, Wayne Holtzman of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Anthony and Ida Delagardelle; and paternal grandmother, Mary Holtzman.

Services and burial will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo, at a later date.
