WATERLOO, IOWA - Barbara Jean Bergmeier, 63, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, formerly of Waterloo, died at home February 3, 2000, of natural causes.

She was born March 4, 1936, in Waterloo, daughter of Isaac and Minnie Aneweer Titus.

She is survived by three sons, Floyd of Chandler, Arizona, and Leonard and Jeremy, both of Guthrie; a daughter, Roberta Albert of Nashua; seven grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; a great-grandchild; and a brother, John Titus of New Philadelphia, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Bergmeier and Jerry Shaffer; a son, Robert Eugene; a sister, Ruth; and a brother, Glen Titus.

Funeral services were held at the Fort Gibson Cemetery in Oklahoma. Pollard Funeral Home, Guthrie, was in charge of arrangements.
