RAY YOST

CEDAR FALLS - Funeral services for Ray Yost, 83 of 1093 Walnut St. will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hetesville Gospel Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Yost died at 5:40 a.m. Sunday at the Lawn City Nursing Home of complications of age.

He was bom Jan. 28, 1890 in Butler County, the son of Elmer and Caroline Graham Yost. He married Hattie Ritzman May 31, 1913, in Marion.

Before his retirement he worked for the maintenance department at UNI. Prior to that he taught school in the Butler County area for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Charles Yost of 933 W. 15th St.; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Fem of Washington; two brothers. William Yost of Minnesota and Chauncy Yost of Ontario, Wis.; three sisters: Mrs. Ella Leraan of 711 Gilbert St.. Waterloo, Mrs. Amy Hogan of Iowa Falls and Mrs. Dora Johnson of Dumont: three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at the Nottger-Ericksen Funeral Home until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and at the church until time of services.
