WATERLOO - Glenn L. Kilbourn, 83, of Waterloo, died April 22, 2001, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 28, 1917, in New London, son of William E. and Edna Grace Coner Kilbourn. He married Margotann Black on May 30, 1946, in Waterloo.

Mr. Kilbourn worked at John Deere for 32 years, retiring as supervisor in 1978. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Survived by his wife; three sons: Robert L. of Waterloo, William P. of Cedar Rapids and Christopher D. of Cedar Falls; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald C. of Mount Pleasant.

Preceded in death by a brother, Orville.

Memorial services were April 28 at First Baptist Church, with inurnment in Garden of Memories. Military rites were conducted by American Legion Post 138 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1623. Locke Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
