WATERLOO — Donald Charles Paulus Jr., 58, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born May 25, 1954, in Webster City, son of Donald Charles Sr. and Mary Fiser Paulus. He married Cindy Card in 1973, and they later divorced. He married Tina Randle in 1984, and they later divorced. He married Angela Taylor on Oct. 8, 1999, in Waterloo.

Mr. Paulus served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed in construction and iron work in Oklahoma and Iowa for many years.

Survived by his wife; a son, Timothy (Misty) of Waterloo; three daughters, Tiffany Cox of Waterloo, Jennifer (Alex) Engel of Minnesota and Maria (Donovan) Danielson of Waterloo; numerous grandchildren; his mother of Oklahoma; a sister, Sandra (Larry) Alderman of Oklahoma; two stepsons, Joshua (Melaina) Taylor of Waterloo and Derrick (Annette) Taylor of Waterloo; two stepdaughters, Felicia (Elmon Djozo) Taylor and Danielle (Jason McCarrol) Taylor, both of Waterloo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father; and three brothers, Michael, Francis and Jeffrey.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, preceded by an hour of visitation. Full military rites will be conducted by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31.
