CEDAR FALLS — Royce Lee Tank, 58, of Cedar Falls, died at home Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 6, 1954, in Waterloo, son of Emmett Edward and Janet Nielsen Card Tank. He was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church, Stapleton, and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waterloo. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1973 and was employed at Allen Hospital in housekeeping, Black Hawk County Jail food service and most recently at the Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo as a custodian.

Survived by a sister, Christie (Robert) Carmichael of Unionville, MO.; two nephews, Matthew Knipp of Fort Dodge and Louis Knipp of Waterloo; and four nieces, Ninya (Woody) Walters and Kesha (Corey) Bean, both of Cedar Falls, Katrin Knipp of Chicago and Mikaela Carmichael (Dustin) Georing of Marengo.

Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Steven and Stuart; a sister, Cindra Knipp; and a nephew, Jason Carmichael.

Visitation: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, where there will be a 1:30 p.m. memorial service. Inurnment will follow in Fremont Township Cemetery, Winthrop.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
