WATERLOO — Genevieve A. Harbaugh, 90, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at NewAdyala Lifescapes, Cedar Falls.

She was born Aug. 9, 1922, in Lamont, daughter of Steve and Mary Lahr Graves. She married Russell R. Harbaugh on Feb. 12, 1944, in Durman, N.C. He died March 23, 1985.

Mrs. Harbaugh graduated from Edgewood High School and Pitze’s Beauty School. She was a beauty operator and homemaker.

Survived by a son, Steven R. of Waterloo; a daughter, Sheila R. (Craig) Stainbrook of Waterloo; four grandsons, Matthew S. Harbaugh and Travis R. Stainbrook, both of Waterloo, Jonathan R. Harbaugh of Hudson and Trent M. Stainbrook of East Orange, N.J.; five great-grandchildren, Hanna and Haley Stainbrook and Alexander Harbaugh, all of Waterloo, and Benjamin and Samuel Harbaugh, both of Hudson.

Preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Constance “Connie” Harbaugh; and a sister, Helen Possehl.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services on Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
