WATERLOO — Lenne L. Anderson, 85, of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Allen Hospital.

He was born July 13, 1927, in Parkersburg, son of Leonard and Caroline Nicklaus Anderson, and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Lloyd Sinram. He married Mary Jean Eschweiler in 1955 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waterloo

He attended Clarksville High School. Mr. Anderson served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, the U.S. Army in the Korean conflict, the Coast Guard and the Army Reserves. He worked at Oliver’s, Titus and John Deere, retiring in 1987.

Survived by his wife; a son, Don of Waterloo; a daughter, Susan McMullen of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services: were 11 a.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 138 and Waterloo Post 1623 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
