WATERLOO — Lois C. Marugg Geiger, 98, of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Hillcrest Home, Sumner.

She was born Aug. 10, 1914, in Kimball, S.D., daughter of John and Meta Miller Ehlers. She married Ray A. Marugg on Sept. 8, 1938, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He died March 3, 1971. She married Darold J. Geiger on April 3, 1972, at the Little Brown Church. He died Feb. 18, 1994.

Mrs. Geiger was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she was involved in the Lydia Circle, Key Club and the Widow’s Club.

Survived by two stepsons, Gene (Mary Ann) Geiger of Waterloo and James (Diana) Geiger of Cedar Falls; nine stepgrandchildren; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor Thomas of Sumner and Gerry Prang of Pleasanton, Calif.; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Ehlers of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Kay Starbuck; two brothers, Maynard J. Ehlers and Charles in infancy; and a sister, Marjorie Callahan.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed Zion Lutheran Church.
