CLIVE, IOWA — Clive police said Monday that autopsy results, just back, show a man found in a parking lot died from injuries consistent with a fall.

Police said the preliminary autopsy report shows that the man died of a skull fracture that was consistent with a fall to the pavement.

Randy Warrens, 49, of Clive, was found unresponsive in the parking lot at 2175 Northwest 86th St. about 2 a.m. on Saturday.

The passerby reported that a man was down in the parking lot, to an employee at a nearby business, who then called authorities. Rescue efforts to revive Warrens were unsuccessful.

Police said there were no known witnesses to Warrens sustaining his head injury.
