WATERLOO — Dorothy Daringer, 99, of Waterloo, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Lakeview Landing of Friendship Village.

She was born Dec. 27, 1912, in Traer, daughter of Walter and Edna Young Robb. She married James Roy Daringer on Feb. 24, 1933, in Waterloo. He died July 9, 1993.

She graduated from West High School in 1932.

Survived by a daughter, Carolyn (David Wayne) Adams of Stevens Point, Wis.; a son, Jim (Ramona) of Foley, Ala.; a brother, Merle (Bertha) Robb of Monroe Township, N.J.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother, Paul, and infant brother Cecil; and two sisters, Maron Sheeley and Imogene Huffman.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Buckingham Cemetery, Traer. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the American Red Cross.
