Jeffery Alvin Young, 44, of Waterloo died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at Allen Memorial Hospital. He was born August 7 1962 in Waterloo son of Claude R. and Mary J. Woods Young.

He was a carpenter and roofer most of his life.

Survivors include his mother, Mary, of Waterloo; his father and step-mother Claude Chico (Jan) of Elk Run Heights; two daughters Lindsay and Elise Owens of Waterloo; five grandchildren; three sisters: Steffania Pichone-Wright and Mary Ann Young both of Arizona, and Kelly (Robert) Lewis of Ohio; a brother Rod (Peg) Young of New Hartford; a half-sister Rashina Young (Chris Metsale) of Waterloo, and several nieces nephews and cousins.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South St. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 1 hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
