WATERLOO — Elaine Turner Lichty Huting, 95, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Lakeview Lodge of Friendship Village.

She was born Feb. 18, 1917, in Waterloo, daughter of Charles and Nellie Dauenbaugh Turner. She married Lynn Lichty on July 11, 1936. They later divorced. She married Clarence R. “Hoot” Huting on May 10, 1940, in Memphis, Miss. He died Oct. 6, 1990.

Survived by a son, Terry (Hollace) Lichty of Waterloo; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Keith Huting; a daughter, Jody Elaine Huting; three brothers, Burnton, Keith and Mark; and a sister, Charlott Lichty.

Family services: will be held at a later date. Following cremation, burial will be in Poyner Township Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Locke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
