CEDAR FALLS - Arthur David Hellum, 68, of Cedar Falls, died at home Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012.

He was born Aug. 21, 1944, in Marshall, Minn., son of Gerlad and Anna Scott Hellum. He married Patricia McCalla on March 9, 1968, in Richfi eld, Minn.

He received his education at Minneapolis Business College and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Hellum worked as an accountant, most recently at the National Cattle Congress.

Survived by his wife; a son, Tim of Waterloo; a daughter, Teresa Hellum of Cedar Falls; and four sisters, Barb Noethe, Donna Pool, Avis Hellum and Bea Truchinski.

Preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Timm.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Ansgar Lutheran Church, Waterloo, with burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, at a later date. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is assisting the family.
