CEDAR FALLS — Kathy Jo Bradfield, 63, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minn., of bile duct cancer.

She was born Aug. 9, 1949, in Boone, daughter of Herman and Marjorie Woolhiser. She married Ken Bradfield on Jan. 5, 1985, at Sunnyside Temple, Waterloo.

Mrs. Bradfield graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1967 and Gates Community College. She later worked as an administrative assistant for the University of Northern Iowa. She was a member of Orchard Hill Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by her husband; three daughters: Vicki Jo Beshey of Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines, Amy Burge of Waterloo and Kimberly (Steve) Lohrer of Van Meter; two sons, Nicholas and Nathan Bradfield, both of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Phil (Mary) Woolhiser of South Carolina and Dave Woolhiser of Arkansas.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday at Orchard Hill Church, preceded by an hour of visitation. A luncheon will follow the service.

Kathy always considered being a wife and mother her most important job. Family and God were the most important things in Kathy’s life, and she would let nothing stand between her and her family.
