EVANSDALE — Richard J. “Rico” Mosley, 63, of Evansdale, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at his home.

He was born Oct. 17, 1948, in Waterloo, son of Raymond and Elizabeth Fitzgerald Mosley. He married Raelynne Findley Aug. 30, 1969, in Nashua. They later divorced.

He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1966. Mr. Mosley was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a roofer in the Waterloo area, recently with Service Roofing Co.

Survived by a son, Chad (Heather Andrews) of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter, Alexis Mosley of Hudson; a brother, Dave (Jan) of Urbandale; and special friends, Shane and Jamie Hoffman, and Don Shea.

Family-conducted celebration of life: from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at Kugs Bar & Grill, Evansdale, with full military rites at 3 p.m. conducted by Evansdale Amvets Post 31, Waterloo Amvets Post 19 and Iowa Army Honor Guard.

Inurnment will be held at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Waterloo. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is assisting the family.

Memorials may be directed to the Evansdale Amvets Post 31.
