Harry Drake Tisue Jr., 80, of Mallard Point formerly of Evansdale and Dunkerton died Sunday, January 14, 2007, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born July 7, 1926, on the family farm in Appanoose County son of Harry D. and Carrie Newman Tisue Sr..

He married Rosalie Magee on November 5, 1949 in Albia. Harry was employed with John Deere in the axel dept. and the cab dept. at the northeast site retiring as a supervisor in 1982 after 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, Rosalie; 5 sons: David (Debra) of Elberon, Dan (Susan) of Evansdale, Dwight (Carol) of Dunkerton, Darcy (Nickieann) of Ft. Worth, TX, and Darin (Mandy) of Dunkerton; two daughters, Denna (Gordon) Magee of Minocqua, WI, and Dawn Tisue of Waterloo; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother Harold (Velma) of Sumner; two sisters, Frances Spears of Albia and June Rouse of Moravia.

Preceded in death by one brother Rex; two sisters, Tresa Hawke and Ruby Sutton.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Central Christian Church with cremation following. Public visitation will be from 3 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and continue for one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.
