Grace Elizabeth Knief 94, of Evansdale passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday May 23, 2012.

Grace was born on February 9, 1918 in Whitewater, WI to Fred and Grace (Hope) Henry. She married Harold F. Knief on March 10, 1935 in Waterloo at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Grace worked together with Harold as a co owner for K&W Sausage Company for 40 Years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved cooking and many activities with her grandchildren. Grace was always involved with many activities with her church.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Harold, Parents, two sisters, seven brothers, son-in-law Terry Leicher, and Grandson Sean Knief.

Grace is survived by her children Larry(Martha) Knief of Phoenix, AZ, Mark(Jacque) Knief of Evansdale, Connie Leicher of Summner, Candace(Roger) Bergmann of West Salem WI and Grace (Lou Strazzere) Thompson of Waterloo; 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
