Milton H. Gille, 95, of Cedar Falls died Wednesday July 11, 2007 at home. He was born December 19, 1911 in Gratiot, Wisconsin, son of Harry J. and Dorothy H. Kruse Gille.

He married Helen R. Woock on January 6, 1936 in Waterloo. She died April 11, 1979. Mr. Gille was employed with the Galloway Manufacturing served with the U. S. Army during WWII and was later employed with Iowa Public Service Company (MidAmerican Energy) for 30 years retiring in 1975.

Survivors include a son James Gille of Cedar Falls, two daughters, Carol (Richard) Boyer of Cedar Falls, and Darlene Bernardino of Denver, Colorado; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one expected great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery both in Waterloo where military flag folding will be conducted by Waterloo Amvets Post 19 and Evansdale Amvets Post 31. Public visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
