JUDITH "JUDY" KAY WINTERS was born June 28, 1944 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin M. and Ardath L. (Rohrer) Hall. She died Sunday, April 28, 2002 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, at 57 years of age.

She married Robert “Bob” M. Winters on May 2, 1964 in Waterloo. Judy was a 1962 graduate of Waterloo East High School and worked at Neal’s Fashions in Waterloo for several years. She also was a volunteer for the Allen Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for 10 years.

She is survived by her husband, Bob of Waterloo; her son, Troy M. Winters and her sister, Becky Platte, both of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2002, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with burial at Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the Allen Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
