Margaret Linkemeyer, 90, of Reinbeck and formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at Parkview Manor in Reinbeck. She was born November 16, 1916 in New Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Anna Mae (Stanton) Gaffney.

Margaret married Lloyd Linkemeyer, and he preceded her in death on April 30, 1987. She was a graduate of New Hampton High School.

Survivors include her three daughters, Susan (Donald) Lynch of Waseca, Minnesota, Mary (Joseph) Suchan of Robins, Iowa, and Karen (Merle) Poland of Cedar Falls, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a sister, Mable Hoil, and three brothers, George, Elmer and Francis Gaffney.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Saturday, February 10, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls, with interment at Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Visitation will be 5—7:00 pm Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, where a 7:00 pm Vigil Service will be conducted, and visitation one hour before the service at the church.
