WATERLOO - Erma F. Lassen, 93, of Friendship Village, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died at the village on Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 30, 1905, in Vinton, daughter of Frank and Cora Bell Ames Bassett. She married Lee Roy Lassen on Dec. 15, 1926, in La Porte City. He died Oct. 20, 1980.

Mrs. Lassen was a sales representative for Amway and Nutrilite products.

Survived by a son, Robert LeRoy of Garrison; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Mardene Wyckoff; and a brother, Leland Bassett.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8:30 p.m. today and for an hour before services Thursday at the chapel.
