Angela M. "Angie" Smith, 99, died Sunday February 4, 2007 at New Hampton Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born October 27 1907 in Waucoma, Iowa, daughter of Fred J. and Nellie Hetherton Smith.

She was the rectory housekeeper for her brother the Rev. Msgr. John J. Smith for 43 years retiring in 1974. She worked at Sunnyside Country Club for two years and also was employed with Martha Ives Catering.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Smith; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by two brothers, Rev. Msgr. John J. Smith and Eugene Smith; also two sisters, Grace Tekippe and Valeria Lahey.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Edwards Catholic Church with burial in St. Lukes Cemetery St. Lucas at 2:30 p.m. Friends may call from 4:00 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a Catholic Daughter of Americas rosary at 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Edwards Catholic Church.
