Funeral services were Friday in Hot Springs, Ark. for Hubbard J. Frost, 74, former Waterloo resident who died Tuesday in Hot Springs of a heart attack. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Hot Springs.

He was born in Exira, Iowa on January 17, 1894, the son of Matthew L. and Katherine Thielen Frost. He lived here from 1900 to 1961 when he moved to Hot Springs.

Mr. Frost was a veteran of World War I. He was a former farmer and had been employed by the Mental Health Institute at Independence.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Fred Marrow of Omaha, Nebraska; and two brothers, John, 1334 Prospect Blvd, and Louis of Stow, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
