LA PORTE CITY — Brent Allen Bagenstos, 47, of La Porte City, died Thursday, Aug. 30,2012 at Covenant Medical Center of liver failure.

He was born Jan. 14, 1965, in Waterloo, son of Ray and Caroline Moody Bagenstos.

Survived by his mother, Caroline Snyder of Waterloo; a special companion, Judy Trentz of La Porte City; two brothers, Michael (Laura) of Boca Raton, Fla., and Wade (Tina) of Des Moines; a sister, Cassie (Milton) Osborne of La Porte City; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Ray Bagenstos.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, La Porte City, with inurnment at a later date. Public visitation will be held for an hour before services Friday at the church. La Porte City Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
