Evelyn Signora Stansbery, 79, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at her home.

She was born October 26, 1927, in rural New Hampton, the daughter of Iver and Martha K. Jervek Nystel.

She married Lawrence William Stansbery June 21, 1950 in New Hampton. Evelyn was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; three sons: Larry (Rebecca) of Evansdale, Harlan (Kathy) of Mt. Airy, MD; and Lonnie of Waterloo; a grandson, Patrick Stansbery of Evansdale; three granddaughters: Kimberly (Judd) Sires of Cedar Rapids, and Megan and Katie Stansbery of Mt Airy, MD; and a brother Raymond Nystel of New Hampton.

Preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter Diana Marie; and nine brothers and sisters.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and for an hour prior to the services on Saturday.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
