CEDAR FALLS — Betty M. Jay, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center.

She was born Feb. 10, 1926, in Waterloo, daughter of Raymond and Mae Speicher Jay.

Survived by a brother, Paul Jay of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a brother, Robert Jay; two sisters, Doris Blitsch and June Sarset; and a niece.

Services: 1:30 p.m. today at the Western Home Communities Chapel, Cedar Falls, with private inurnment in Orange Township Cemetery, Waterloo, at a later date.
