WATERLOO, IOWA - Marion L. McGee 82 of Gilbertville died Monday, December 4, 2006, at Ravenwood Health Care Center.

She was born on November 26, 1924, in Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Louise Ratz Peter. She married Lyola McGee on October 6, 1947 in Cresco. Marion was a homemaker and a school teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Lyola of Gilbertville; three sons: Robert (Kathleen) of Coppell, Texas, Richard (Teresa) of Ossining, New York, and Randy (Laurie) of Plano, Texas; one daughter, Rosemary (Curtis) Behnke of Kirkland, Washington; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry (Janice) Peter of Dubuque; two sisters, Vera Price and Gladice Borseth, both of Cresco.

She was preceded by one sister, Viola Peter and one brother, Mike Peter.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gilbertville, with burial in St. Josephs Cemetery, Raymond. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary at 4 p.m. and a vigil at 7 p.m. Visitation also for an hour before services at the church.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice Bosco System or a charity of donors choice.
